| Jamie Foxx Confirms Sinister Six Talks For ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Sequels |
 |

Though the first Amazing Spider-Man did not really hint at it, the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 tells us that the series will culminate where the villains from the respective films band together to fight Spider-Man. Recently, Chris Cooper revealed that he only had a small role in the second film, which would be expanded upon in the third. Paul Giamatti also has a small role in the sequel, but it is suspected that he has signed on for at least one more installment. Speculation of a Sinister Six team started when Sony announced that they would be releasing two more Amazing Spider-Man films. Course we won’t know if all if this is true until we see the movie itself, but should a villain die, it’s safe to say that he won’t be joining the six. But it seems that film star Jamie Foxx let slip the fact that Electro won’t die in the sequel. He also confirmed that there are talks of a Sinister Six hapening. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

| New ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Photo Teases Sinister Six
Sony Pictures has been trying to keep The Amazing Spider-Man 2 footage in the dark from the general public and anything regarding the forthcoming sequels a huge secret. Sure enough there have been a couple of teases and hints that indicate that Spider-Man will face his greatest challenge: the Sinister Six. We already know that Jamie Foxx will play Electro and Paul Giamatti is the Rhino, with Chris Cooper and Dane Dehaan signed on to play Norman and Harry Osborn, respectively. As we can expect to see a condensed version of the footage that was seen at Comic-Con in the near future, more production photos from the film have been released, and one of them reveals – or teases – a nice surprise. ComingSoon posted the photos today, featuring images from the film, as well as those from behind the scenes. Check out the photos here below.

| ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 4’ Could Be More Than Just About Spider-Man
It’s not entirely surprising that the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con panel for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was just about that and not the forthcoming sequels that Sony had announcement a few months back. It is really hard to tell what the studio has planned for the iconic hero, but considering that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 opens in 2016 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 in 2018, there is more than enough time to plan and release bits of news. Releasing a trilogy has becoming more commonplace, but going forth with a quadrilogy is a rarity. Keeping the story fresh and the character interesting throughout four films is even more of a daunting task. However, director Marc Webb feels up to the challenge. The director made a few comments at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend to talk about the sequels and how he intends to keep audiences interested in the Webslinger.

| SDCC 2013: ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Panel
What would the 2013 version of San Diego Comic-Con be without an appearance by the Amazing Spider-Man, and an appearance by Spidey is just what we got Friday at the convention center. Director Marc Webb was on the panel to show off a bit of footage from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which is still in production. Along for the ride with Webb was his leading actor, Andrew Garfield, who came out dressed in full Spider-Man gear. Dean DeHaan who plays Harry Osborne was also there, as well as producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach. Emma Stone had a brief video message that was interrupted by Electro. Then, in a surprise moment, Jaime Foxx came out on stage to some huge applause. Garfield went on to play the beginning of the panel in character as Spider-Man, getting asked a bunch of hero-related questions. A few minutes in, Spider-Man got called away on urgent business, leaving room for Garfield’s proper entrance.
