When the world was about to be overrun by Loki and the Chautari, Nick Fury rallied the world’s greatest heroes to stop them. At least the heroes that Marvel Studios still owns.

The day after The Avengers Blu-ray, DVD, and Blu-ray Combo Pack hit store shelves, the Screen Junkies team decides to poke fun at why there were so few heroes seen in The Avengers. Check out the brutally honest but also very hilarious video below.

Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already underway with Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World well into different stages of production. Films under the plans for Phase Two also include Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and possibly Ant-Man. All those films would lead up to The Avengers 2. But the one thing you don’t see in that line up is a standalone Hulk film. With Mark Ruffalo signed on to appear in multiple Marvel-related films, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has a slight idea of what the plot for the Hulk standalone film could be and when we could be seeing it.

In an interview with MTV, Feige said seeing a Hulk standalone film could come as early as after The Avengers 2, which hits theaters May 1, 2015. It’s way too early to put an exact date on the Marvel calendar, but Feige does believe that the Hulk is worthy of having his own standalone film, it’s just a matter of finding the right story.

Yesterday Joss Whedon shared some of his thoughts on the script for the upcoming James Gunn-directed Guardians of the Galaxy, just one of the many important pieces to Marvel Studios’ Phase Two. Now The Avengers director is opening up about Marvel Studios’ plans for Phase Two in general and giving us one more clue about what we could possibly see in The Avengers 2.

In addition to being the director of The Avengers 2, Whedon is also a creative contributor for any Marvel Studios-related projects until the year 2015. Basically Whedon is the captain that steers the ship in the right direction. And much like The Avengers, the events in Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and possibly Ant-Man will dictate what could possibly happen in The Avengers 2. But Whedon doesn’t want to get in the way and wants the directors of their respective films to make their work their own.

Good news to those who had to leave a showing of The Avengers to take a call, go to the bathroom, or just blinked during the film: you have another chance to watch whatever you missed when the film hits theaters once more this Labor Day.

Or if you just want to see it again, that’s fine too. That’s right, The Avengers is getting re-released for an exclusive one-week run.
