The rumor surrounding Jon Favreau‘s Star Wars TV show was that it would center on the Mandalorian race. And now a new Instagram post confirms those rumors.

An image posted by Favreau reveals that the title of the show will simply be The Mandalorian, and it follows “the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.” More on the story below.

In addition to the anime-style Star Wars: Resistance, which will air on The Disney Channel, there is also the live-action series which will air on Disney’s streaming service. There’s a new report that says the untitled series will have a $100 million production price tag, making it one of the most expensive shows to produce next to HBO’s Game Of Thrones and other big budget shows. Additionally, there is a rumor that says the live-action show could be about the Outer Rim planet Mandalore – the home planet of characters like Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Sabine. There are new details emerging about the content that will be seen on Disney’s yet-to-be-named streaming service. The service will launch in 2019 and provide customers with content from a wide-range of Disney properties from Disney itself to Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm.

Earlier this year, Disney CEO Bob Iger talked about the number of Star Wars original shows that would be created specifically for the direct-to-consumer platform.
