Part of the deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today is a Super Mario Bros.-inspired mash-up with the cover of The Misfits single “Die, Die My Darling” called “Die, Die My Princess” by manospd.

The shirt went on sale at RIPT today, Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

The t-shirt is available in men’s (through 3XL), women’s, and youth sizes for $10 each. Kids sizes are $10 (Girls, Toddlers, and Onesies); Hoodies for $38 (in Men/Unisex sizes). The official online store for The Misfits is offering up some holiday-themed gifts for the season, like a Horror Xmas T-Shirt, which has the cover art of the band’s upcoming Horror Xmas EP featuring a Grinchy-Green “Fiend.”

The design is also available on a Crewneck Sweatshirt and on a Christmas Tree Ornament (3 1/8″ round ornament).

The official online store for The Misfits is offering up a very nice Skulls and Stripes T-Shirt in honor the Fourth of July, aka the USA’s Independence Day holiday. The shirt, which is a soft 100% cotton basic black men’s tee that’s selling for $22.99, features the band’s skeletal Fiend mascot decorated in a red, white, and blue US flag design.

While writing up a recent story about how The Misfits’ new double-live CD, Dea.d. Alive, is streaming online for free right now, I noticed that the band’s official site had an ad up about some limited-edition Valentine’s Day items.

One of these limited edition holiday items is The Misfits Fiend Valentine T-Shirt, which features the band’s familiar skeletal Fiend mascot inside a red bleeding heart (with the band logo on the back in red).

The ad (as seen here above) also had the same red heart design on a black mug, and let me tell you… I want that mug, I need that mug!!!

Dea.d. Alive, the upcoming live album from horror punk legends The Misfits which will be released on CD and MP3 on February 5, 2013, is streaming online for free right now over at Rolling Stone. (You can hear one of the songs from the album here below.)

Dea.d. Alive contains 14 live tracks, most of which were taken from their Halloween shows in Times Square in New York City, with a select few songs coming from the band’s encore set in their home state of New Jersey. Along with 13 Misfits tunes from their recent era – meaning post-Glenn Danzig days – there’s also a cover of “Science Fiction – Double Feature” from The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, a most appropriate selection for an All Hallow’s Eve concert, and it’s the first time a recording of their rendition has been released.
