| New Preview Videos For FX’s Vampire Series ‘The Strain’
If waiting until next year for Crimson Peak or the newly confirmed Pacific Rim 2 in 2017 is too long for those of you itching for your Guillermo del Toro fix, a solution is coming very soon. The adaptation of del Toro and Chuck Hogan‘s book trilogy The Strain debuts on FX on July 13th, and it’s clearly got that del Toro look to it, primarily Blade II del Toro. A pair of new behind the scenes preview videos have been released, showing plenty of peeks at the series along with chats with cast and crew, which can be seen below.

| New Teaser For Guillermo del Toro’s ‘The Strain’
We’ve seen a viral video clip for the highly anticipated new FX series The Strain, and now comes a brief teaser video to help build more and more excitement for the show. The Strain comes from Pacific Rim and Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, based on their book trilogy of the same name, and will be captained by showrunner Carlton Cuse. | Guillermo del Toro’s ‘The Strain’ Gets A Viral Video Clip
Recently we found out that The Strain, the planned new TV series adapted from the book trilogy of the same name by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, had been picked up for an entire season by FX. To hold us over until an official trailer and the show itself arrives, a brief viral clip was shown during the most recent episode of The Walking Dead. The clip is titled “He Is Here,” and it involves lots of rats. You can check out the viral clip for The Strain below.

| Guillermo del Toro’s ‘The Strain’ Gets Full Series Order From FX
Good news for fans of Guillermo del Toro and the horror book trilogy he wrote with Chuck Hogan, titled The Strain, as it has been announced that FX has ordered the TV adaptation to full series. A little over a year ago we found out that the show was being developed by del Toro and LOST showrunner Carlton Cuse. Production on the pilot just finished up, and FX liked what they saw enough to greenlight a full 13-episode season, which will premiere in July of 2014.
