‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ Trailer: Lonely Island Goes From Digital Shorts To Films
Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for the hilarious comedy Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, starring Andy Samberg as a singer-rapper named Conner4Real. Directed by Samberg’s fellow Lonely Island teammates, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, the film will take audiences behind the scenes of what it is like to live the life of famous rapper Conner4Real, and watch him become humble after his latest album becomes the victim of a flop.
Since this is a red-band trailer, I caution you to hold off on watching it if you are in an office because there is some NSFW material that can be seen and heard in it. But if the coast is clear, then put on those earbuds and check out the trailer below.

Universal Congratulates ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ On Breaking ‘Jurassic World’ Record (Image)
Over the weekend Star Wars: The Force Awakens broke a couple of records, and you might have already heard, including Jurassic World‘s all-time biggest domestic opening weekend record.
Because Disney-owned Marvel was cool enough to congratulate Universal Pictures on breaking the record earlier this year, topping previous record-holder Marvel’s The Avengers, it seemed only fair that Universal return the favor. And that’s exactly what they’ve done. Just as Marvel tweeted out a congratulatory image of Chris Pratt riding a Tyrannosaurus rex holding Thor’s hammer Mjolnir in front of the Avengers team, Frank Marshall has tweeted out an image of the T-rex presenting droid BB-8 with a medal.
You can check out the congratulations image below.

Tom Cruise In Talks For ‘Mummy’ Reboot; Will Begin Monsters Shared Universe
There’s no doubt whatsoever that many eyes rolled at the news that Universal was going to attempt to turn their classic monsters into a shared universe similar to what Marvel has been doing, beginning with a reboot of The Mummy. But when a name like Tom Cruise comes into the picture, eyebrows will no doubt raise above those previously rolled eyeballs…making for some truly silly faces others will giggle at.
It’s being reported that Cruise has entered into talks for a role in the new Mummy flick, which makes things much more interesting. Who would Cruise play? That’s unclear at the moment…but given that this is a shared universe, you can expect that it would be a multi-picture deal that would see him showing up in other movies that will follow The Mummy centering on Wolf Man, Dracula, and more.
