| Found Footage Anthology Sequel ‘V/H/S 3’ Gets A First Trailer
Epic Films Group has released the first trailer for the trilogy-maker in the V/H/S found footage series, which is more officially titled V/H/S: Viral. Just like the two movies that came before it, this latest entry is an anthology offering multiple short found footage horror flicks to enjoy. And as you’ll see, it looks every bit as ooey gooey gory as fans have come to expect of the franchise. Cast: Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick, Ron Livingston, Jason Sudeikis, Ti West Directed by Joe Swanberg (Hannah Takes the Stairs), Drinking Buddies follows the complicated friendship of Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson), who work together at a craft brewery. As friends, they’re way too close – it’s obvious there’s something more there, but Kate is dating Chris (Ron Livingston) and Luke is with all-around good girl Jill (Anna Kendrick). The two couples go on a weekend getaway together and things get even more problematic when Jill and Chris go on a hike and find themselves romantically entangled. Meanwhile, Kate and Luke flirt while playing cards and get cozy on the beach. Without giving away the intricacies of the narrative, the four characters struggle to balance their romantic relationships and platonic friendships with the opposite sex – some with success, others with disastrous results.

Every March, the SXSW Film Festival attracts thousands of fans, filmmakers, press, and industry leaders to Austin, TX, to revel in the celebration of cinema by enjoying a gauntlet of new, exciting movies with the best film audiences in the world. | ‘The Raid,’ ‘Blair Witch Project’ Directors To Help Make ‘V/H/S/ 2’
A sequel to the recent horror anthology V/H/S is already moving forward, and new directors are being lined up to collaborate on the project. Most notably, Eduardo Sanchez, one of the directors of the first found footage horror flick, The Blair Witch Project, and Gareth Evans, who helmed the recent Indonesian action hit The Raid: Redemption, will be among the directors writing and directing segments that will make up V/H/S/ 2.
