| AMC Considering ‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff Series
Fans of the hit AMC original series Breaking Bad are surely devastated to see it getting ready to enter its eighth and final season. But it appears that the series finale might not be the end…at least not for one of the characters you’ve come to know over the course of the show’s five-year run. According to a new report, AMC and producer Sony TV are currently pondering a possible spinoff series that would focus on the character Saul Goodman. Saul, played by Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show with Bob and David), is a flamboyant criminal lawyer who first appeared in season two of the show in an episode titled “Better Call Saul.”

| ‘Mythbusters’ To Do ‘Breaking Bad’ Episode; Aaron Paul, Creator Vince Gilligan To Appear
A special episode of Mythbusters is on the way, in which the team with tackle multiple tests inspired by the hit AMC original series, Breaking Bad. Star Aaron Paul and show creator Vince Gilligan are expected to make an appearance in the episode, as well. The first test, handled by Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, with determine whether the scene in season 1 of Breaking Bad in which Paul’s character ignores a warning from co-star Bryan Cranston’s character to use a plastic container to dissolve a body in hydrofluoric acid. He ignores the warning and instead uses a regular bath tub, which, of course, the acid eats through and eventually causes the tub to fall through the floor.

Season 4 of Breaking Bad, in my mind, is the superior of the series thus far; bringing Walter White’s journey to an incredible crescendo portrayed in an amazing performance by Bryan Cranston, and delivering some of the most compelling television with an explosive conclusion certain to satisfy the viewers and hardcore fans alike. For the uninitiated, Breaking Bad follows the story of Walter White, a chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Facing continual mounting medical bills without adequate insurance, White is forced to find a manner of making money to cover not only the expenses, but to leave some sort of financial legacy for his family.
