The latest movie from Audition, Ichi the Killer, and 13 Assassins director Takashi Miike, titled First Love (Hatsukoi), made its premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival as part of the 51st Directors’ Fortnight earlier this year. | ‘Shadow’: Watch A Trailer For The Latest From ‘Hero’ and ‘House Of Flying Daggers’ Director Zhang Yimou
Well Go USA Entertainment has released an official US trailer for the Chinese action drama Shadow, which is set during the Three Kingdoms period which spanned from 220 to 280 AD. The movie is directed by Zhang Yimou, whose credits include visually stunning period dramas such as Hero, House of Flying Daggers, and Curse of the Golden Flower. | ‘The Endless’ From The Directors Of ‘Resolution’ and ‘Spring’ Arrives In Theaters Today; Watch A Trailer and Clips
A new low-budget supernatural thriller titled The Endless is being released in limited theaters today. The feature comes from the team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who are known for directing the indie flicks Resolution and Spring. In addition to handling pretty much all aspects of making the film—a script penned by Benson, directing, producing, editing, and cinematography—Benson and Moorhead also star this time around. They play brothers who return to a cult they escaped from only to discover that the cult’s beliefs might not be as crazy as they once thought. strong>Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm series, one of the greatest and most enduring horror franchises of them all, has terrified millions of fans around the world and given them an iconic villain to forever haunt their nightmares in the form of the glowering Tall Man, played to perfection by the late Angus Scrimm.
