| ‘Aladdin’ Images: Guy Ritchie Takes Us To A Whole New Modern World
It’s been weeks since we saw the teaser trailer for Disney’s live-action adaptation of their animated classic, Aladdin. Based on the Middle Eastern folktale collection “One Thousand and One Nights,” the film will see a street rat named Aladdin (Mena Massoud) finding an all-powerful magical lamp that holds a wish-granting Genie (Will Smith). Using its power, he’ll disguise himself as a prince in order to impress Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott). The film isn’t due out in theaters until next year, but a handful of new images have been released that give us our first looks at Princess Jasmine, Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), and, of course, Genie. | Will Smith, Martin Lawrence Confirm ‘Bad Boys 3’ Officially Happening
We’ve been hearing about a possible Bad Boys 3 for a long time now. At one point, Sony even set release dates for third and fourth installments in the action franchise. But for various reasons, it hasn’t been able to find life. Now they’re ready to give it another shot. And while it’s hard to get excited for any fan of the series who’s been waiting so long for Bad Boys 3 to happen, this time it’s a little different. Instead of the occasional news update hinting at the possibility of a sequel, this time there’s star power behind it. The stars of the first two movies, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, took to social media to confirm that the movie is officially happening. The pair met up today to record a short video sharing the news, which you can watch below.

Walt Disney Studios has released the first teaser trailer for their live-action remake of Aladdin. This follows the release of the teaser poster we saw this week. The trailer is most definitely a teaser, not showing much at all. But we do get some familiar things in live-action (and sometimes CG) form, set to some familiar music. | Mary Elizabeth Winstead Set To Star In ‘Gemini Man’ Alongside Will Smith
It’s being reported that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been cast as the female lead in Gemini Man, an upcoming action thriller from Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media. The actress beat out Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany for the role. Winstead joins Will Smith, who will actually be playing two roles, on the cast. Smith will play an older assassin named Henry who’s looking to escape that life, and also a clone of Henry who’s 25 years younger, in top form as an assassin, and on a mission to kill his older self. Winstead will play an operative working for the same company as Smith’s character who’s ordered to keep an eye on Henry, but ultimately ends up joining forces with him.
