FOX
Air Date: Monday, September 21st, 2015, 9pm Steven Spielberg took a Philip K. Dick story and a Kubrick-style vision, to craft an amazing sci-fi action film in 2002. His criminally underappreciated Minority Report starred Tom Cruise as an police officer in the futuristic “pre-crime” division, a group that stops murders before they happen, thanks to the visions of three precognitive siblings. When Cruise himself is accused, a conspiracy is discovered that brings pre-crime crashing down. Now, FOX is bringing Minority Report to the small screen, picking up 10-years after pre-crime has shut down, and focusing on the lives of the now adult and free pre-cogs Dash (Stark Sands), Agatha (Laura Regan), and Arthur (Nick Zano). A few spoilers ahead, beware!

| Minority Report – 10-Seconds of Hype |
 |

Coming in September to FOX is the new sci-fi original series Minority Report. Based on the Steven Spielberg’s 2002 movie of the same name, the series takes place 10-years after those events. One of the most underrated films in the legendary director’s resume, the film tells the story of Pre-Crime, a police unit that can prevent murders before they happen, through the use of three special pre-cogs (siblings who can see the future). The film starred Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, and Samantha Morton. When the system crumbled because of conspiracy and, well, murder; pre-crime was abandoned and the pre-cogs set free. And so we pick up with the new series. A now grown Dash (Stark Sands) copes with being able to see murders in a future where pre-crime is no longer legal. Circumstances bring him together with Det. Lara Vega (Meagan Good), who wants to use his abilities to set up pre-crime on the down-low. Now FOX has released a series of YouTube videos called “Tease in Ten,” where four cast members including Sands, Good, Wilmer Valderrama (That 70’s Show), and Laura Regan, all provide ten seconds of thoughts on their new series. Watch the clips below.

One of the most highly anticipated shows coming this fall is Minority Report, based off the 2002 sci-fi action movie by Steven Spielberg, which in itself was based on the Philip K. Dick. The film starred Tom Cruise as a policeman in the futuristic pre-crime division. Murder has basically been done away with thanks to three pre-cogs, kids born with the ability to see murders before they happen. When Cruise’s John Anderton was seen committing murder and subject to arrest, he broke in and kidnapped one of them, Agatha, to help clear his name. When Anderton does not commit the murder and exposes a conspiracy to frame him, orchestrated by his former mentor Lamar Burgess (Max Von Sydow), it in turn exposes the dangers and ethical violations of pre-crime. The film ends with the pre-crime division being shut down. The new series, written and co-executive produced by Max Borenstein, picks up ten years later in 2065, and focuses on pre-cog Dash (Stark Sands) coping with his visions, and trying to prevent murders.
