
The Fox Network’s Sunday “Animation Domination” is about to add another high-profile, not-exactly-for-kids cartoon to its line-up. Not letting the failure of the Jonah Hill-starring Allen Gregory and the highly-hyped but under-performing Napoleon Dynamite deter them, the network has granted a “presentation order” to Working Class Hero, a prospective series set in a world where superheroes are underpaid government employees. Actor, comedian, author, and rising geek god Patton Oswalt will provide the voice for the main character, a super-powered father who often finds that battling villains with designs for world domination is a cake walk compared dealing with his rowdy friends and overbearing family. Working Class Hero will be co-written and executive produced by Mike Barker, who executive produced and co-created the similarly-themed Fox hit American Dad with Seth McFarlane.
