SDCC 2019: Marvel Studios Also Announces ‘Fantastic Four,’ Mutants, and Other Titles

Marvel Studios doesn’t mess around when it comes to any announcements on a public stage like San Diego Comic-Con. After telling the world about a slew of upcoming titles including The Eternals, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Thor: Love and Thunder, Blade, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige took to the stage the say that there were other titles in the works as well, they just didn’t have enough time to get to them.
And just as a nice tease, Feige revealed that these titles include Fantastic Four, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and a film that could, possibly, feature some mutants. Check out more on all of these titles below.

SDCC 2019: ‘What If’ Marvel Studios Brought Back Your Favorite Heroes and Villains For A New Series

Marvel Studios’ What If…?, which was announced back in March, is a brand new upcoming TV series that will be streamed exclusively on Disney+. The series will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe in all sorts of new ways by posing the question of “what if?” This really isn’t anything new considering that Marvel Comics has an entire comic line dedicated to hypothetical and alternative stories, like “what if Thanos had joined the Avengers?” or “what if Captain America joined hydra?”
And now we have an idea of who will be involved. While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared some news about the show, which includes announcing that Jeffery Wright will be voicing The Watcher, and various actors and actresses who have appeared in Marvel films who will be reprising their respective roles. More on all of this below.

SDCC 2019: ‘Hawkeye’ Series Finally Gives Jeremy Renner’s Character A Shot At Being The Lead

Though Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is one of the founding members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers, he never really had a major role in it. Yes, that started to change towards the end, but he is remembered as a supporting character. But that will change now that he will be the lead of his own show, simply titled Hawkeye, coming to Disney+ this fall.
Though the show isn’t expected to debut until later in 2020, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige took to the stage at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming series as well as Kate Bishop, a major character in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s comic series Hawkeye #1 (December 2016). In it, Barton found himself semi-retired and teaching Young Avenger Kate Bishop the ropes of being a skillful archer. More below.

SDCC 2019: ‘WandaVision’ Will Be “Exciting and Different and Strange”

When WandaVision was first announced as a show that would appear only on Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service, many wondered when and where the story following Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) would take place.
Well, we really can’t expect to get any answers from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who was at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming series. However, he did drop a few hints about the tone of the show and how it will fit into the MCU. More on all of this below.

SDCC 2019: ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Carries Cap’s Legacy On To Disney Plus

Though Marvel’s televised series are said to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they don’t really function as one considering how Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment don’t speak to each other in a way that would make it a cohesive shared universe. However, that will be different for the Marvel TV series over at Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service.
While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige plus Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan took to the stage to talk about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and mentioned a few surprises that will include the return of some characters from the Russo Brothers’ Captain America films. More on all of this, below.

SDCC 2019: Marvel Studios Confirms Angelina Jolie To Appear In ‘The Eternals’

Marvel Studios hasn’t had a major appearance at San Diego Comic-Con since 2017, and they made up for their absence in a very big way at SDCC 2019. First they announced the end of “The Infinity Saga,” which is the first 11 years of films since the studio launched way back in 2008. Then Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed a few titles and a few stars that will appear in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
