At the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Gary Oldman was on hand for the Book Of Eli panel.
During the Q&A, Oldman was asked the inevitable question: When will there will be a new Batman movie and Oldman confirmed that the third film with director Christopher Nolan will begin shooting next year. He added that we can expect a new movie in two years. “But you didn’t hear that from me,” he joked.
Obviously, the crowd went wild. This is exactly what everyone wanted to hear, especially since Nolan has talked about possibly doing another film before heading into a sequel to last year’s wildly popular The Dark Knight.
HELL FREAKIN YEAH!!!

You really thought they wouldn’t make another one? The bucks it raked in made another a sure thing.
