Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have unveiled the new logo and title for the sequel to the immensely popular Rocksteady Studios video game, Batman: Arkham Asylum.
The logo you can clearly see it in all of its glory above (click for high-quality version for those of you itching for a new desktop background!). As for the title, it will officially be called Batman: Arkham City. The game will take place in a ruthless maximum security district of Gotham City where all of the most evil villains reside.
The Arkham Asylum follow-up will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and will be released sometime in the fall of 2011.

As you’ll recall, we recently found out that fan-favorite Mark Hamill would be returning as the infamous Joker, but that it would be the last time he did the voice. He also shared that it was the script and how good it was that drew him back one last time, so hopefully this means another great game is on the way.
SYNOPSIS
Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
