Look what I got for Christmas!

It’s a Star Wars Max Rebo Plush Battle Buddies Figure and I love it so much.

This little Max Rebo plush was in my Christmas Stocking and I didn’t even know it (Dave3 and I forgot to open up our stockings)!

Above is a picture I took of my new plush sitting on my bookcase.

There are other Star Wars Battle Buddies — like Yoda, Chewbacca, and C-3PO — but none of them are cute as this Max Rebo one.

I’m guessing Dave3 picked Max Rebo for me because I have frequently protested the treatment of the Max Rebo Band in the special edition version of Return Of The Jedi. Replacing the band’s classic tune “Lapti Nek” with “Jedi Rocks” completely disrespected the Max Rebo Band and is an insult to Max Rebo’s music and life’s work. There’s no way Max Rebo would sell out like that and agree to have the music changed, making it seem like he’s actually playing “Jedi Rocks” — It’s a disgrace!

Plus, Max Rebo is how I began my friendship with Mike of Great White Snark after I covered the amazing Max Rebo Cake his mom created. Max Rebo always makes me think of Mike (and I’m pretty sure he too protests to the treatment of the Max Rebo Band in the special edition).
