space
The Movie God   |  @   |

The first trailer for director Matthew Vaughn‘s comic book adaptation, X-Men: First Class was released online today, and it’s ready and waiting for you to take a peek and share your thoughts below. It’s unclear how good the movie will be, but this should make up for any images that might not have been received too highly.

The movie is set in the ’60s and is produced by Bryan Singer, who directed X-Men and X2: X-Men United before handing off the reigns to Brett Ratner for X-Men: The Last Stand. It’s adapted from the comic book series of the same name and stars (Michael Fassbender) as Magneto, (James McAvoy) as Professor Xavier, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost , Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Jason Flemyng as Azazel , Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore , and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

X-Men: First Class will hit theaters on June 3, 2011, and you can check out the first trailer right now by clicking on over to the other side.

  4. Very attractive trailer. Still not entirely happy with the character choices, but Matt looks to be setting it up for success.

  5. Very good trailer, but not convinced. This is Fox and they’ve basically have destroyed almost all the X-Men films and I’m also not happy with the character choices, so…yeah. Visually it looks good, let’s see it the same can be said plot-wise.

But James McAvoy’s in it, so I’ll be going regardless.
