Human Centipede 2

This week, my editor decided to punish me because I had been assigned to review the first Human Centipede DVD, but I never did the review. In the interest of full disclosure, however, I had heard details about the film and have been trying to work up the courage to watch it for approximately a year now. My penance for not completing the review is to cover this, the new image and teaser trailer for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (which you can watch here below), and if you know about Human Centipede, then the subtitle of the movie should chill your spine and make your stomach churn. Because it definitely did to me. And rightly so.

After taking three hours to watch the trailer and profusely vomit, I think I’m ready to tell you what’s going on here. Well, the main bit of news from this story is that IFC Midnight and director Tom Six (that just sounds like the alias of a serial killer) have unleashed the first image of what could possibly be the sickest and most twisted character in all of film history, and his name is Martin. He’s not slim and slick to be deceptively deranged like most madmen in recently films, no. He’s overweight, dressed disgustingly, and the face that newcomer Laurence R. Harvey gives to Martin makes me cry from fear. I’m a 28-year-old grown man, and the sight of this character in the film terrifies me to no end. Because I know what this character is going to do.

If you aren’t familiar with the plot of the Human Centipede movies, I’m really sorry, but I’ve got to tell you what to expect. You may need a minute, and you might want to be sitting down near a bathroom. You ready? Again, I’m sorry. Human Centipede is the story of a horrible person that is obsessed with creating a human centipede. “Now Hunter, what is a human centipede?” you may ask. Well, that’s when you attach several people together by sewing their anal cavity to another person’s oral cavity. Yes. It’s the worst possible scenario of “ass-to-mouth” that’s ever been imagined. And I’m very sorry that I had to tell you that.

Not grossed out enough yet? Well, then go have a look at the teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel here below.

Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) will be released on October 7, 2011.
