A new red band trailer for the upcoming indie hockey comedy GOON has been unveiled by Magnet Releasing.
The movie stars Seann William Scott as a bouncer and underachiever who stumbles onto a spot as the resident goon—the guy who beats everyone up—on a semi-pro hockey team. Scott is joined by Jay Baruchel (who also co-wrote the script with Superbad and Pineapple Express writer Evan Goldberg), Alison Pill, and Liev Schreiber.
You can check out the red band trailer for GOON below now.
For those who aren’t sure, this is not to be confused with Kevin Smith’s hockey movie, Hit Somebody, which also had Seann William Scott attached to star.
What are your thoughts on the trailer? Can this become the next Slapshot?
As always, an all-caps NSFW warning is in order.
