The 2014 Marvel mystery movie had remained, for a lack of better terms, a mystery. Reports have being coming in saying that it could be Ant-Man, Black Panther, and the lesser known Guardians of the Galaxy.

The mystery movie that was originally scheduled to open May 14th, 2014, might have been better suited for Black Panther, but Marvel has now pushed the date for their mystery movie back, and also has confirmed that it will in fact be Guardians.

Marvel has pushed back the release date for their mystery movie to August 1, 2014. This might give audiences a break from the Marvel cinematic universe since the original dates between Captain America 2 and the mystery movie we now know is Guardians was separated by only a few weeks.

August may be the month that ends the Summer movie season, but its also a month that has a few hidden gems and is often one that has sleeper movies. I am sure that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will reveal a few more details during the San Diego Comic-Con, which we will be covering extensively of course.
