The cast for director Brett Ratner‘s next movie, Hercules, has added a handful of new actors to join Dwayne Johnson, who’s starring in the lead role. New additions to the cast include Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love, Enemy at the Gates), John Hurt (Alien, Hellboy), Rufus Sewell (Dark City, A Knight’s Tale), Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen), and Askel Hennie (Headhunters).

| George R.R. Martin Talks About Potential ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel Series On HBO
A recent event was held for the world premiere of season three of HBO’s Game of Thrones, which the rest of us will get our eyes on when new episodes start airing on March 31st. Speaking at the event, George R.R. Martin, the creator and author of the books on which the series is based, was asked about the other titles he may be working on for HBO after that recent two-year deal he signed. He understandably could not speak much about what he was working on, but Martin did talk about the possibility of a Game of Thrones prequel series. Find out more about it below.

| Watch Now: ‘Gary Oldman Loses His Shit’ Supercut |

Gary Oldman, the versatile actor who’s played such memorable roles as Count Dracula, Sirius Black, Jim Gordon, and Sid Vicious, among many other non-pop culture characters, turns 55 years old today. To commemorate the occasion, the folks over at Flavorwire put together a video supercut titled “Gary Oldman Loses His Shit,” which compiles scenes from some of Oldman’s movies where the English actor basically loses his shit. Included are clips from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, The Fifth Element, Romeo Is Bleeding, Sid and Nancy, True Romance, and many more. If you’re familiar with Oldman’s movies, then you know, if one of his characters loses their shit, chances are, someone’s getting hurt. Yes, before he was Harry Potter’s Godfather and helping Batman fight crime, The Dark Knight actor played some pretty frightening characters. | Cobra Commander Looks To Kickstarter For Funds To Help Defeat G.I. Joe
We’ve covered our fair share of interesting Kickstarter campaigns, as filmmakers and comic book creators and video game designers have sought donations from regular folks to help make their dream projects become a reality. But never have you seen a Kickstarter campaign such as this one. Cobra Commander, the leader of the infamous COBRA organization and arch enemy to G.I. Joe, has taken to the crowdfunding website after the Joes defeated him and his organization (yet again). He’s seeking funds to rebuild Cobra Island, and is looking for the starting goal amount of $21,474,836. But that’s just to start. Cobra’s ultimate goal is around $94 billion to do what they want to do.
