I’m trying to not outright spoil one of Marvel Comics stories, even if they are willing to, because I’m not that guy. So, here’s the vague details: Writer Neil Gaiman will once again be doing some work for Marvel Comics this year, and he is bringing with him a character that he created for a different company twenty years ago. That’s about as much I can say without getting into details, so beware spoilers ahead.

| Disney In Depth: Ideas For Reimagining and Remaking Disney Animated Films
Why develop a new property when you can leverage off of an existing one? Such is Hollywood’s motto, and to some extent, its livelihood. Disney has long cashed in on well-accepted brands by converting animated films into live-action ones, and is currently developing new versions of both Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. But I have some original ideas to offer. Dive into this Disney In Depth, which delivers three fresh reimaginings and remakes of Disney animated classics.

| ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Int’l Trailer: Cumberbatch Will Walk Over Your Cold Corpses
An international trailer has been released for Star Trek Into Darkness, J.J. Abrams‘ follow-up to his 2009 reboot Star Trek, and it’s a dark one! You can watch the new teaser trailer here below. See now, for the U.S., we get all the campy stuff and fast cut-away action; oversees, they get the dark scifi drama version for the film, which sees Kirk and his crew of the Enterprise on a mission to stop Benedict Cumberbatch’s mysterious character, John Harrison. In the international trailer, we learn more about Harrison, who everyone speculates will end up really being the famed villain Khan (think Marion Cotillard’s character in The Dark Knight Rises).

| 10 Albums Streaming For Free, Including Depeche Mode & The Strokes |

Ten wildly diverse and eclectic records are available for free listens right now. Two that stand out from the pack are the newest record by synth-pop/light industrial/electro kings Depeche Mode, who have making records for over three decades now, and the 1980s-esque with a few tricks up their sleeve sonic musings of The Strokes. The Depeche Mode album, titled Delta Machine — on sale March 26th — is summed up by their songwriter/guitarist Martin Gore as a kind of hybrid of arguably the band’s most popular records, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion. On Delta Machine, with its cutting buzzsaw style guitar lines, heavy synths, and drum machines, which sport breathlessly complex yet accessible back beats and raw vocals by David Gahan, mixed with a shiny, ominously strong weight of a production, should satisfy the hardcore fans who have following the band for years and might even get a few new converts to the band in the process.

I honestly don’t know how I waited a whole month for G.I. Joe #2. But, I’m glad I did. Wait, I’m not glad that I WAITED, I’m glad that the moment is here and I got to read it. Issue #3 comes out next week, right? RIGHT?!?! Fred Van Lente is quickly becoming my favorite writer. I don’t know how I missed his awesomeness all these year. And for that, I apologize. Now, I’ll be making up for it. Ladies & Gentlemen, G.I. Joe is BACK! BACK to its comic greatness. BACK to the stories that we all imagined while we played with the toys when we were kids. Remember a couple of years ago when we were all so pleasantly surprised when we watched G.I. Joe: Resolute? Yeah, it’s like that.
