A brand new gameplay demo has been released for the much anticipated Battlefield 4, the next chapter in developer DICE’s ultra popular first-person military shooter franchise.

Fans of Battlefield 3 will be excited to see the new gameplay demo, as it runs a hefty 17 minutes in length. Plenty of time to see what the next game will look like.

The Star Trek: The Next Generation: Hive trade paperback collects the hit IDW mini-series from 2012, written by legendary Star Trek writer/producer Brannon Braga.

Script writers Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett take story writer Brannon Braga’s concept and carve together a passable script. What the big problem is, is that Braga tries to tell THE definitive Star Trek: The Next Generation story here, but it feels more like an expanded episode of the TV series. In short, The Borg has launched and finally taken over the Alpha Quadrant. All that stands between them and total domination is, of course, Jean-Luc Picard. Picard comes up with a plan to finish The Borg once and for all, but he needs help from another former Borg, Seven of Nine. Will they succeed? I think you know the really predictable answer to that.

As has become customary, Michael Bay and friends don’t make a big deal out of casting announcements, often times just letting fans know via Bay’s website or on the Twitter.

When it comes to Bay’s Transformers 4, we’ve already heard about Mark Wahlberg being cast, followed by the announcement of Jack Reynor. Now comes word of the actress chosen to play the female lead, Nicola Peltz.

The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today mashes up A Clockwork Orange with The Powerpuff Girls for a shirt called “The Ultraviolence Boys” by RatiganProductions.

The shirt went on sale at RIPT today, Thursday, March 28, 2013, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.
