| Judy Greer Joins ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ As Female Ape Lead |

Judy Greer is set to reunite with her 13 Going On 30 co-star Andy Serkis as the new female lead in Matt Reeve‘s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes. But it’s not the type of female lead you may be thinking. While Keri Russell has landed the female human lead role, Greer will play the female ape lead. Vulture reports that in addition to providing the voice for the Cornelia, she will also do the motion capture performances. Greer isn’t known for her motion capture work, but she has plenty of experience in the voice over department, her most notable work can be seen on the hit FX animated comedy Archer, which has just been extended for a fifth season. According to the report it was Serkis who convinced Greer auction for the part.

| Original ‘Godzilla’ Star Set To Appear In New Reboot
Fans of Godzilla and monster movies in general couldn’t help but instantly think of Roland Emmerich’s 1998 disasterpiece of a remake when it was revealed that a new reboot was on the way. But thankfully things appear to be going in the right direction with the reboot as far as casting is concerned, and the latest actor to be confirmed for the movie brings with them some positive vibes that the reboot will be very faithful to the original Godzilla movie, titled Gojira. Legendary Pictures has released a new image via the Twitter of reboot director Gareth Edwards and Akira Takarada, one of the stars of the 1954 original movie.

One of the main purposes of the column has been to show how Disney is – and can be – integrated into all of our lives. Until now, though, I have not really detailed in what ways I incorporate Disney into my life. This edition of Disney In Depth focuses on how the Disney theme parks recently came into play during my academic experience. Were you one of those kids who attempted to show your love for “geeky stuff” whenever the opportunity presented itself? Or maybe even if it wasn’t the most relevant, you tried to throw in that Batman or Star Trek reference to demonstrate your passion for the brand? For me, Disney has always filled that role, and most everyone who know me well personally is fully-aware of the steadfast Disney fervor I possess.
