SDCC 2013: Get Your Head Severed At The Predator 3D Blu-ray Booth!

One of the most fun things you’ll see on the con floor at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con is happening at Booth #3528 where Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is promoting their upcoming limited edition 3D Blu-ray release for the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film Predator.
Convention goers can go to the booth and have their photo taken, where you’ll then be made to look like the victim of the Predator. Then, using 3D printing technology, a customized figurine will be created that looks like the Predator alien is holding your severed head. That’s so badass!
Oh, more importantly, the Predator is hanging out at the booth in its familiar jungle setting (see the photo I snapped of him here below.)

Trailer: Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas & Kevin Kline Head To ‘Last Vegas’

The first trailer for Last Vegas, a new movie starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, and Kevin Kline has been released.
In the movie, four men in their senior years head to Las Vegas to throw a bachelor party for the last of them to get married…to a woman half his age. It’s directed by Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice), and scheduled for release on November 1, 2013.

SDCC 2013: ‘Dexter’ Panel

Dexter fans are nothing if not dedicated, sticking with the show through thick”¦and thin (season 6, anyone?). We’ve been through a LOT. On the crest of its last season on air, Showtime’s Dexter made its final San Diego Comic-Con appearance Thursday evening in Hall H.
The panelists included series star/executive producer Michael C. Hall, and past and present co-stars Jennifer Carpenter, David Zayas, Aimee Garcia, Desmond Harrington, Yvonne Strahovski, Lauren Velez, Eric King, and Julie Benz. Also appearing were executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck, Clyde Phillips and Manny Coto. Ralph Garman moderated. He mentioned that the complete series will be available on Blu-Ray November 5th, in a box that resembles Dexter Morgan’s blood slide collection case. This announcement was followed by a retrospective look at Dexter Morgan’s most famous kills.

Before the Amityville Horror, there was the Haunting of Harrisville. The Conjuring takes place in 1971 and follows Roger and Carolyn Perron (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor), a married couple who moves into an old farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island with their five daughters only to discover their dream home is haunted by malevolent spirits. Enter World War II veteran and noted demonologist Ed Warren and his clairvoyant wife Lorraine, a bad-ass duo of demon hunters who specialize is seeking out the supernatural.
