The $11 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is a glow-in-the-dark design by Harantula called “Jack’s Nightmare” and is inspired by Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The sale began at Teefury today, Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).

Most geeks have at one time or another quoted Gandalf the Grey’s (as played by Ian McKellen) most epic of lines from Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, “You shall not pass!”

So it was only a matter of time before someone dressed like Gandalf and tried it out on the unsuspecting public. As part of their Movies in Real Life series, Improv Everywhere took over Bow Bridge in Central Park and got to the denying passage…without much luck.

During this weekend’s New York Comic-Con 2013, DC Entertainment brought a special Superman 75th Anniversary panel to the Main Stage auditorium. During the panel, which celebrated the Man Of Steel’s importance in comics and pop culture, a special animated short was shown to the audience that featured Superman through the years.

DC has now released the 2-minute animated short online – watch it here below. And head’s up, it might leave you a little teary-eyed.

Put together by Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder and leader of DC’s animated universe movies, Bruce Timm, the short includes the many incarnations of Superman, starting from his comic book origins in Action Comics #1 to the animated series, TV shows, and feature films. Along with the Kryptonian, we get to see some of his adversaries, like Bizarro, and allies, like Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.

The short will be included on the Man Of Steel Blu-ray and Blu-ray Edition releases, due out on November 12, 2013.

One of the most anticipated games of the next generation, which begins next month when the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are released, is the Ubisoft title Watch Dogs.

The game was scheduled for release on for all platforms, this generation and next. Unfortunately for those who have been eagerly awaiting its arrival after numerous incredible gameplay demos, that wait just became a whole lot longer.

It’s been announced that the game has been delayed, and will now be released sometime in the spring of 2014. You can read a full statement on the decision below.

So yesterday you might have heard that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Paul Rudd, and a possible third mystery man were in the running to be Hank Pym in Edgar Wright‘s Ant-Man. Depending on who you ask and how Wright wants to envision the multi-size hero, it could be either one of the two that are known. Now the shortlist has gotten even shorter as Gordon-Levitt has addressed these rumors and has officially taken himself out of the running.
