The Legend Continues

Rated PG-13 | 119 Minutes

By the hymen of Olivia Newton-John!

2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is, without question, one of the funniest comedies of all time. If it were a hiney, it would be absolutely breathtaking.

With absurd, quote-worthy dialogue and hyper-masculine, mustachioed man-children, Adam Mckay and Will Ferrell‘s 2004 film is a cult classic.

In Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, the Dynamic Duo of Dick Jokesâ„¢ have made a sequel so batshit crazy, so marvelously idiotic, that comparisons to the first film are nigh impossible. This exercise in insanity feels more like a B-side to Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie, that bizarro bonus movie assembled from Anchorman‘s abandoned subplots and alternate takes. To put it bluntly, this movie is fucking nuts.

The Movie God   |  @   |

Dying Light Gameplay

You may have seen the first gameplay demo for the upcoming Techland and WB Games title Dying Light this past summer, and now comes a new lengthy peek at the game.

This new gameplay demo runs nine minutes, and again shows off the two very different sides of the game—the day time and the night. In the day time you’re still surrounded by the undead, and they can still be very dangerous to you if you get careless, but a mixture of combat options, traps, and the ability to free run around the open world from ground level to the rooftops gives you the edge in staying out of harm’s way. But when the sun fades, something changes in these beasties, and they become much more aggressive and much more deadly as they chase you to areas you didn’t think they could reach.

Continue below to read more about the game and to check out the new gameplay demo.

Harley Quinn #1 Cover Preview

This week marks the release of Harley Quinn #1, an ongoing series featuring the titular star from DC Comics as part of The New 52. While Harley is currently part of two team books already – Suicide Squad and Injustice: Gods Among Us – her solo book will focus on her new life as a resident of New York City and the day-to-day escapades she finds herself in.

The series is being written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner (Conner will also provide the cover art) and features art by newcomer Chad Hardin. In an interview with USA Today, Conner noted that “even though it’s still fairly early, it is beginning to look like Looney Tunes meets a Quentin Tarantino movie” which sounds quite promising for those who are a fan of Ms. Quinzel.

Check out a preview here below of Harley Quinn #1.
