‘Muppets Most Wanted’ Trailer: Kermit The Frog and The Case Of Mistaken Identity
space

Muppets Most Wanted Trailer Header Image

One is the most world renowned frog in the entertainment business, and the other is the most notorious frog in crime. It’s a case of mistaken frog identity in director James Bobin‘s sequel to The Muppets, Muppets Most Wanted. The gang is back together for the sequel that will take them on a tour that takes them around the world and back. Problem is Kermit will be spending a great portion of that tour in prison, while the most notorious frog in crime, Constantine, takes his place.

This crime caper flick, which looks to be as much fun, if not more fun, than the film’s predecessor. And of course it wouldn’t be much of a Muppet movie if it did not have any sequels. Tina Fey, Ty Burrell, and Ricky Gervais are the principle cast, but there are cameos made by Danny Trejo, Christoph Waltz, Ray Liotta, P. Diddy, Celine Dion, and Tom Hiddleston (oh please let that be Tom Hiddleston). Hit the jump to see the full trailer.

Guest NCBD Picks by Blake Northcott

Yes, I admit it: one of the best comics I’ve read this year is about magical orgasms. This week, Sex Criminals #3 (Image Comics – $3.50), written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Chip Zdarsky, will be the first book I tear into the moment I get home from collecting my stash.

American Gods

Author Neil Gaiman answered some questions on Reddit recently, one of which was related to American Gods, his Hugo and Nebula Award-winning 2001 novel. A couple years back we got the excellent news that the book was being adapted into a possible series for HBO, with word that there could even possibly be six seasons on the way despite there only being one book (each of the first two seasons of Game of Thrones were adapted from a very large book, for comparison).

According to Gaiman, a series based on the book is still in the works, but it’s no longer being developed at HBO. Continue below to read his quote.

Star Wars Droid R2-D2

We’ve heard a lot of rumors since Star Wars: Episode VII was announced, most of them involving which characters will be featured and which actors from other Star Wars movies may be reprising their roles.

But now comes the first official announcement of one character you will in fact be seeing in the movie. It’s being reported that R2-D2, the little astromech droid that could, will definitely be showing up somewhere in Episode VII. Even cooler, he’ll be made by fans.
