| PhobosLab’s ‘Z-Type’: ‘Space Invaders’ For The Typing Pool |

Hey, remember Space Invaders? How about Centipede? Now, do you remember your typing class in high school? Wait, what? I’m not kidding. You probably thought, while you were being endlessly drilled in high school on page after page of typing letter after letter that there’s no way that something as seemingly tedious as typing on a keyboard, whether you learned on a computer or an actual typewriter, could ever be fun. But you – and me, and everyone else who ever had to endure typing lessons – were wrong. The war of the cuts have been going on for quite some time, with Joon-ho being diplomatic about the the 20 minutes that the distributor wants to cut from the film. But recently the director has been extremely unhappy with how his film is being treated, and is now claiming that his cut is better than the Weinstien’s. The war of words has really affected the film’s domestic marketing, for which there is none. Of the trailers that have been released, a lot of them have been international trailers. Even with Chris Evans starring in the film, it’s unlikely to gain the box office traction a sci-fi film would normally get. But Joon-ho’s statements could be just the push needed to get this film out there sooner than later. Hit the jump to see what the director had to say about his version when compared to Weinstein’s.

Spinoff series Caprica had a rocky 17-episode run in 2010 before cancellation and he’s been involved with various other projects, but nothing has really taken off. But with a pair of new series on the way, Moore is looking to make 2014 a big year. One of the two new shows he has on the way is titled Helix and, just like BSG, it will air on Syfy. You can read a synopsis of the show and check out the trailer below.
