Yesterday’s trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier was pretty much the best of the bunch. It was all of the things you would want from a Marvel Studios’ film with a 70’s political thriller twist.
So while the international trailer is more or less the same kind of trailer that we just saw just edited in a different way, it does introduce Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), aka Agent 13. She is Peggy Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) niece, and possible love interest for Captain America/Steve Rogers.
Watch the international trailer here below.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Hayley Atwell. Marvel Studios will release the film into theaters on April 4, 2014.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy–the Winter Soldier.

Sharon Carter’s intro was the only thing really different from the US version. Why not show that here in the States?
