Sin City represented the neo-noir styles of the comic book come to life. Black and white colors, with ultra violence, stylized sex scenes, and gritty imagery that can only come from Frank Miller and be visualized into real life by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino.
While the latter won’t return for a guest directing vignette, Rodriguez returns to direct its sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, armed with a script written by Miller, some returning cast members like Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, and Rosario Dawson, and some new additions like Josh Brolin replacing Clive Owen as Dwight, Eva Green, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Powers Boothe, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung, and more.
Dimension Films has released a brand new trailer for the film, and it is only a glimpse into the dangerous world that is Sin City. Hit the jump to check it out.
Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning “Sin City†graphic novels back to the screen in SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more notorious inhabitants. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is the follow up to Rodriguez and Miller’s 2005 groundbreaking film, FRANK MILLER’S SIN CITY.
