The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles want to share their love of pizza by giving away some free slices to attendees this Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con.
Snagging a free slice involves some Twitter hashtagging, which will yield a redemption code to be used at the convention’s Interactive Zone on Thursday, July 24 from 11am – 7pm PST. Full details below.
The slice, courtesy of Pizza Hut, comes in a custom TMNT-themed special edition pizza box. Here below is the box art, which was designed by Philadelphia-based illustrator/designer Scott Derby.

Also, here’s some more details about TMNT’s presence at this year’s Comic-Con:
In addition to the custom TMNT-themed pizza boxes, Paramount Pictures & Pizza Hut will unveil an enormous live-action Pizza Thrower for comic enthusiasts and diehard Ninja Turtle fans worldwide. Standing at more than 12 feet tall, 9 feet wide and extending 16 feet long, the Pizza Thrower boasts a 180-degree rotating tower with a turret-mounted seat to trigger the pizzas. At Comic-Con, attendees will have the opportunity to climb aboard the highly technical vehicle to take charge of the trigger for practice against targets or to take down Shredder. The thrower will fire faux Pizza Hut Cheesy Bites pizzas at the targets and enemies of the Ninja Turtles.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, from director Jonathan Liebesman and producer Michael Bay, comes to theaters on Friday, August 8, 2014.
I really hope this abomination/mockery of a great franchise bombs hard at the box office. Nobody should make money off of something so erroneous.
