Yesterday, what appeared to be test footage for a Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds made its way online. While the low-quality footage was reportedly from 2012, it was good enough to get everyone excited about “what could have been.”
The video, which features a CGI Deadpool voiced by Ryan Reynolds, who brought the Merc with the Mouth to the big screen in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, was created by Tim Miller through his company Blur Studios. Miller had been tapped to direct Deadpool back in 2011 and reportedly animated 8 minutes of test footage.
Blur Studios has now officially released 2 minutes of that footage and it’s in HD! Watch it here below.
Deadpool has been stuck in development hell for a few years now, but perhaps this renewed interest will prompt Twentieth Century Fox to get on a move on and give this movie the green light.

I love Ryan Reynolds he’s so fine and funny. What’s cool is Gwen Stephani is in it. This movie has been long awaited by the public. I mean we just can’t get enough of the superhero comics.
