After reconciling, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) decides on one final journey together with the Doctor (Peter Capaldi), which influences some major choices. The pair end up on the Orient Express in Space – a ship resembling the famed train, and first mentioned by the Doctor (when Matt Smith played him) many, many years ago.
During TARDISblend 79, we discuss the reminiscing, nods, and tributes abound throughout Mummy on the Orient Express, coupled with a plot first hinted at by Steven Moffat at the end of Series 5 in 2010! Later, we discuss the performances by the cast in this episode, from the primary players to the guest stars.
All this and more on the latest TARDISblend!
Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The BLENDOVER Podcast and The Heavy Metal Historian Podcast) and geek journalist Tom Cheredar of VentureBeat, TARDISblend is a podcast that takes a look at the ongoing adventures in the Doctor Who Universe – as Peter Capaldi makes his beginnings as the next Doctor!
