New ‘Inside Out’ Images: How Our Emotions Can Trigger Memories

Pixar's Inside Out (2015)

2015 will see the release of two original Pixar films, Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. The first to be released will be Inside Out. Set inside the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley, Pete Docter‘s new animated film will have five emotions — Joy, Fear, Disgust, Sadness, and Anger — navigating Riley through life. Basically it is a representation of the inner workings of our mind and how we store memories, with a slight touch of Pixar added to the mix, of course.

We are bound to get a few more trailers and images to give us a better idea of the film in the months leading up to the film’s release. Now, some new images have been released showing us how exactly the emotional characters store memory and view previous ones. Hit the jump to check it out.

Disney Pixar The Good Dinosaur

As part of their 2015 Film Preview, Disney has released new concept art for Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur, along with a revised title card for the animated feature.

Check out the new art here below.

Lucas Neff voices the main character, Arlo the Apatosaurus, with the following voicing Arlo’s family: John Lithgow as Poppa, Frances McDormand as Momma, Bill Hader as older brother Forrest, Neil Patrick Harris as brother Cliff, and Judy Greer as sister Ivy. Back in August 2013 at Disney’s D23 Expo, we got our first look at the film when it was initially slated to be released on May 30, 2014. Since then, director Bob Peterson was moved off the project, replaced by Peter Sohn, and the date pushed to November 25, 2015. (Sohn recently spoke about the delays and story changes.)

Marvel Daredevil Netflix Cover

As excited as many of us are about the upcoming films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man — Marvel Studios also has some TV shows debuting in 2015. There’s the mid-season premieres of Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, which will be followed by the release of the full season of Netflix’s Daredevil, and hopefully Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones, all culminating to the Defenders miniseries.

So far we only know that Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, and others, and those of us at NYCC in October got a sneak peek of the series, but as to the show’s overall tone, how it connects to the MCU, and if we will see signature characters like Bullseye, Kingpin, and Elektra, that is still very much a mystery.

Now we are getting a little bit of insight on that from Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb, showrunner Steven S. DeKnight, and series star Charlie Cox, all of whom were recently the subject of a Daredevil piece on Entertainment Weekly.

Below are the seven things EW says you need to know about Daredevil before watching it. Hit the jump to check it out.

According to ILM, much of their work can be seen in the third act of the film.

Check out here below the video representing a small sample of ILM’s work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
