| Video: Disney-Pixar Putt Pop-Up In NYC & Interview With Emma Berman From ‘Luca’A new destination attraction just opened in Battery Park in lower Manhattan. Pixar Putt is a Disney Pixar-inspired mini golf course located next to Pier A with views of the Statue of Liberty and The Freedom Tower on either side. The pop-up comes on the heels of Pixar’s latest film Luca, which premiered on Disney Plus earlier this Summer and was just released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. Celebrating the opening of Pixar Putt, Emma Berman, Giulia in Luca, was there to play a few holes and answer some of our questions. Emma, who just turned 13, is making her big screen debut in Luca and instantly became a fan favorite, especially with my 10-year-old daughter. You can check out our full video interview below.

| Mike Lee’s Top 10 Favorite Movies Of 2015Top ten movie lists are purely subjective, and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. There really isn’t a definitive list as to the best movies of the year are, because it’s all a matter of personal taste. It’s difficult to argue how Inside Out might be better than The Big Short. Try to compare why Spotlight is better than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It doesn’t do any of us any good trying to rank Room over or below Mad Max Fury Road. Anyone can put up a ranking, and no one list is the same as any other. But I guess that is what makes the practice of making these lists so appealing. Reading and arguing which films deserve to be in a yearly top ten, or even take the title of the year’s best.

| Empress Eve’s Top 10 Favorite Movies Of 2015 |
|
It’s time for my annual look back at my top 10 favorite movies of 2015. While I do write the occasional movie review, I don’t consider myself to be a “film critic,” but rather more of an enthusiastic movie watcher. I enjoy a lot of movies I watch, but not many becomes “favorites.” So, this list here is not my picks for the “best” films of the year; these are merely my favorite movies of 2015. I do get to see a lot of films every year, and my criteria for a “favorite” typically is one that keeps me entertained and makes me want to see it repeatedly. Admittedly, I tend to be drawn more towards the fantasy/superhero selections, and less towards the Oscar bait pictures. There will be plenty of other “Best Of 2015” lists being published here at Geeks Of Doom in the coming days that will take a more analytical look at 2015’s films, and will likely include more serious dramas. But for now, with me, you’ll get more fun picks than anything else. With that, here’s a list of my Top 10 Favorite Movies of 2015.

Release date: November 3, 2015 The widely successful Inside Out has finally hit DVD/Blu-ray. Recent Pixar fare has not been a true reflection of the poignant emotions you would normally feel while watching films about toys, seniors who go out on one last adventure, clown fish, and tiny robots. So it seems fitting that Pixar’s latest film brings that poignancy home by focusing on the emotions that drive us: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear. We all have these emotions, which makes the film that much more relatable – there are arguments that there are different numbers of emotions, but for narrative sake, directors Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen focused on these five.

| Honest Trailer: Inside Out |

Pixar has a history of making awesome movies for kids that are in NO WAY movies for kids. Take Toy Story 3. It’s a movie about human boy Andy’s lovable toys, like Woody and Buzz and Slinky the dog”¦ except there’s a homicidal “Governor from Walking Dead” style villain toy and an ending that sees our cute toy heroes accept their demise in an incinerator! Or WALL-E, a movie with a charming robot, and adorable cockroach; which was really hammering home to the parents in the audience the dangers of laziness, waste, and pollution. Let’s not even get into Up, a movie that literally reached in and yanked the tears out by the gallon”¦ unless you were a kid laughing at the talking dog”¦ “SQUIRREL!!!” With these in mind, the gang at ScreenJunkies debuted their latest Honest Trailer this week, for the latest Disney/Pixar film guaranteed to go over the heads of children everywhere while forcing their parents into odd conversations after”¦ Inside Out. Watch the Honest Trailer here below.
