Back in May, it was announced that Roberto Orci would be directing Star Trek 3 and the Transformers writer even dropped off as executive producer for the Power Rangers movie to focus on the Trek sequel.

Now, Deadline is reporting that Orci, who was to pick up where franchise director J.J. Abrams left off (when he moved on to Star Wars: The Force Awakens), will no longer be directing the third Star Trek movie, but he will stay on as producer.

I grew up outside of Indianapolis, Indiana, and woke up this morning to find that my childhood friend Dave Fox had sent me this awesome story which ran originally in Indy’s alternative newspaper Nuvo. It seems that heavy metal icons Slayer and their entourage came to the rescue of one defenseless feline before their recent show at The Old National Centre in Indianapolis.

Things are starting to shape up for Wonder Woman. Last week Michelle MacLaren landed the job of directing the film starring Gal Gadot as the title character. Her next task was to find a suitable writer to pen the script. And it looks like she may be close.

THR says that Pan screenwriter Jason Fuchs is now in talks to rewrite the script. Fuchs would work with MacLaren on the drafts. It’s unknown how drastic these rewrites will be considering we don’t know much about the film itself. We do know that Wonder Woman will make her big-screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But as to what the film could be about, it could be a variety of things, and with the rumors swirling around the Internet, we won’t know until the studio makes an official announcement. Blut Aus Nord is a black metal band from France, but also so much more. Guitarist/vocalist Vindsval started out as a one-man project in 1994 under the moniker of Vlad. The name was soon changed to Blut Aus Nord, which translates to “blood from the north.” Musically, the project started out as fairly straight black metal, but quickly evolved to incorporate elements of industrial, ambient, avant garde and symphonic black metal.
