Toxic Holocaust are a blackened thrash band from Portland, Oregon that formed in 1999. To date they have issued five albums, four EPs, and too many demos, compilations, splits, and live albums to list here. Singer/guitarist Joel Grind also issued his first solo album, the excellent Yellowgoat Sessions in 2013. Here, from the band’s third studio album An Overdose of Death is their anthem “Nuke The Cross.”

| Chris Pratt In Talks For ‘Magnificent Seven’ Remake
With the massive success of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and his upcoming role in Jurassic World, Chris Pratt is quite the popular commodity right now. Recently he was offered the role of Nathan Drake in the planned movie adaptation of the Uncharted video game series, but turned down the offer. Now comes word that Pratt has entered into early negotiations to star in Magnificent Seven, MGM’s remake of the classic 1960 western directed by John Sturges and starring Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, and Eli Wallach. If all works out Pratt would play a character named Farraday, and would join Denzel Washington on the cast.

| Ryan Reynolds Confirmed For ‘Deadpool’
It’s always been assumed that if Fox ever decided to move forward with a Deadpool movie Ryan Reynolds, who played the character in their X-Men Origins: Wolverine, would return to star in the title role. Well, Deadpool was made official in September, and comic creator Rob Liefield made it clear last month that the movie is happening because of Reynolds. All that was left was confirmation, and today comes word that Reynolds is closing his deal with Fox to become the Merc with the Mouth once again. The actor also sent out a hint that things were official on the Twitter, which you can see below.

| Krysten Ritter Cast In Lead Role In ‘Jessica Jones’ From Marvel and Netflix |

Marvel has found their lead female star for their Jessica Jones Netflix series. Don’t Trust The B— In Apt 23 star Krysten Ritter will play as the title character. She beats out Alexandra Daddario, Teresa Palmer, and Jessica De Gouw, who all testing for the role. Dexter alum Melissa Rosenberg is the series showrunner. Running at a total of 13 episodes, Jessica Jones will introduce Luke Cage midway through the series. So his casting isn’t far behind. We haven’t heard much since it was reported that Lance Gross and Mike Colter were up for the Cage role. So it could be that they are still testing, or one or both are out, leaving Marvel to look for someone else to fill the role. Hit the jump for more.
