An official trailer has been released by Sony Pictures Entertainment for The Equalizer 2, which sees Denzel Washington reprising his role from the 2014 original. The movie is, believe it or not, the first sequel Washington has appeared in over the course of his remarkable four-decade career. | ‘Fences’ Trailer: Denzel Washington, Viola Davis Turn In Powerful Performances
Now that fall is officially here, that means studios will begin to roll out their Oscar-worthy films. Paramount has released the first trailer for Fences, Denzel Washington‘s latest directorial effort, which is an adaptation of August Wilson‘s award-winning play of the same name. Set in the 1950s, the film centers on Troy Maxson (Washington) a former major league baseball player turned garbage truck driver who now struggles to provide for his family. | New ‘The Magnificent Seven’ Trailer Starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt
Sony Pictures has just released the second trailer for Antoine Fuqua‘s The Magnificent Seven. The film is a reimagining of the 1960’s film of the same name, which also happened to be an adaptation of Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 Japanese-language film Seven Samurai. Fuqua’s film stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, and Martin Sensmeier as our seven protagonists, each with their own special set of skills, who are hired by the residents of a small town in need of help ousting the nefarious industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard). | First Trailer For ‘The Magnificent Seven’ Remake Released
It’s been quite a while since we first heard rumors about actors like Tom Cruise and Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Costner starring in a remake of the 1960 western classic The Magnificent Seven for MGM. None of those rumors played out, but the remake still moved forward, and, as promised when we saw the first official images yesterday, a trailer for the movie has been released today. Though it is technically a teaser trailer, our first look at the movie still runs over two minutes in length and shows plenty of footage. Click on over to the other side to check it out.
