An official trailer has been released by Sony Pictures Entertainment for The Equalizer 2, which sees Denzel Washington reprising his role from the 2014 original. The movie is, believe it or not, the first sequel Washington has appeared in over the course of his remarkable four-decade career. | Check Out The Season 2 ‘Wayward Pines’ Clips!
Wayward Pines debuted on FOX last May and became an immediate hit during its 10-episode run. The series, based on the stories by Blake Crouch, is about a strange Idaho town that is much more than it seems. Executive Produced by M. Night Shyamalan (who also directed the pilot), the show featured an amazing cast, including Oscar nominees Matt Dillon, Juliette Lewis, Terrence Howard, and Oscar winner Melissa Leo, alongside other veterans like Shannyn Sossamon, Carla Gugino, and Toby Jones. The show had a definite LOST vibe to it, mixing science fiction, supernatural, and intense drama. To get ready for the debut of season 2, FOX has released several short preview videos to prep audiences for the all new season, which starts next week. | FOX’s ‘Wayward Pines’ Renewed For Season 2! |

Wayward Pines was a surprise ratings hit for FOX over the summer with a 10-episode run. The surprises continue however as Variety reports the show has been renewed for a second season, despite creator and showrunner Chad Hodge not returning. The show, about a mysterious town with a stranger populace, was based on books by Blake Crouch, and executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan; who along with his hit film The Visit had a stellar return to prominence in 2015. Both of them will return as Executive Producers. Spoilers from season one below.

| ‘The Big Short’ Trailer: Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt & More Take On The Banks
Adam McKay (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) is no real stranger to taking on some serious social issues. His buddy cop comedy The Other Guys was just released after the financial crisis of the late 2000s. The film’s closing credits included animated infographics on the consequences of Ponzi schemes, financial fraud, and wealth inequality. But his new film, The Big Short, takes on the financial crisis in a very serious way. Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for The Big Short, starring Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt, just a few weeks before its limited theatrical release. | ‘London Has Fallen’ Trailer: This Time Gerard Butler Saves The President Across The Pond
Okay, so another trailer for another sequel to another generic action movie has come out. The first full trailer for London Has Fallen starring Gerard Butler as the secret service agent Mike Banning who saved the US President (Aaron Eckhart) in Olympus Has Fallen has gone online. While the first film received mixed to negative reviews, it was still enough of a success to warrant a sequel. It even beat out its summer tentpole competitor White House Down that same year. So what happens in the sequel. Well now all the world’s leaders are gathering together for a major summit, and of course terrorists take the opportunity to strike by killing all but the President of the United States, where it is up to Mike Banning once again to protect him at all costs.
