| Esteemed ‘Graduate’ Director Mike Nichols Has Died |

Mike Nichols, famed director, writer, actor, and comedian (paired as a comedy team with Elaine May), who conquered Hollywood and the entertainment world in many facets and culminated a career which won him scores of accolades and unbridled success, has died. He was 83. There really wasn’t much of the show business landscape that wasn’t treaded by the sharp mind and extremely creative talents of Mike Nichols, husband to ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer since 1988. His crowning achievement is The Graduate — in which he won a Best Director Academy Award in 1968 and which remains a film that is one of Hollywood’s most memorable productions — was one of the first films for the youth culture of the 1960s with themes of anti-establishment towards authority of every stripe. Each and every week, I, “Too Cold!” Henchman 21 and “Way Too Cold!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of November 19, 2014. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s a special all Image hardcover edition because apparently they felt the need to drop three awesome collections out on the same week. Which I guess is cool because it’s not like I need money going into the Christmas season. But, I suppose I was just going to spend that money on gallons and gallons of egg nog and I may as well spend it on awesome comics. Which is exactly what we suggest you do on The GoD List!
