The Movie God   |  @   |

Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull

Comic book fans are extremely passionate, there’s no doubt about that. And that passion has clearly carried over to the many movies that have been made based on the various comic books. But sometimes…sometimes that passion can take a fan to some pretty extreme places.

Take, for example, 37-year-old Henry Damon from Venezuela. Damon is so incredibly passionate about comics, and especially Captain America comics, that he has always dreamed of becoming Cap’s nemesis Red Skull. And so he decided to have his entire face reconstructed, according to the Daily Mail, in order to transform himself into the Marvel supervillain, who was played by Hugo Weaving in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (seen above). This included the super fan getting his face AND eyes tattooed, inserting implants under his skin to create the right shape, and even having his nose cut off to mimic the Skull’s intimidating look.

You can read more and see images and a video of Damon’s extreme new look here below.

Damon, who is a husband and father, went to tattoo and extreme body modification surgery specialist Emilio Gonzalez, who conducted several physical and psychological tests to make sure Damon was fit enough both mentally and physically for such a drastic transformation.

Gonzalez said of the transformation (via http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2939251/Comic-book-fan-implants-face-nose-CHOPPED-fulfil-dream-looking-like-Captain-America-s-enemy-Red-Skull.html” target=”_blank”>Daily Mail):

“Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person. He’s an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification.

Most of my customers know that body modification is the last step of body art, everyone knows very well what they want and as well as Henry, many of them are waiting for me for many years to make their dreams a reality.”

There’s still more to be done as well. Next will be silicone implants on his cheeks, cheekbones, and chin, and then more red tattooing on the face to complete his transition to the comic book villain.

If you’re a horror movie fan, this seems like a good time to suggest you check out the Twisted Twins flick American Mary if you’ve not yet seen it.

  1. Let me get this straight… this jackass spent money that could have benefited any number of charities undergoing extreme surgical procedures to resemble an ex-Nazi war criminal super villain who is the archenemy of the hero who represents all that’s good about America? Dude is sick in the head, end of story.

  2. Ok Article Writer, I think there was no need to mention that this wacko had psychological tests to make sure he was fit enough mentally.

There are no Tests that could make this guy out to be anything but Insane in the Membrane.
