Furious 7 Dwayne Johnson

After having an explosive showing with its Super Bowl spot last Sunday, Universal has released the full trailer for Furious 7.

The road to this highly anticipated film hasn’t been easy. Pushed back an entire year due to the tragic loss of star Paul Walker, director James Wan managed to put it all together. The trailer reminds us what makes the Fast and Furious franchise so much fun to watch. It is hard to believe that we’re seven films into this franchise, and just by looking at this trailer, it looks like there is nothing that can stop it. Not even gravity.

Hit the jump to check out the latest trailer for Furious 7.

This second trailer is truly epic in scale. Flying cars, exciting fight scenes, exploding houses, and a fight between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham that ends with the Rock being blown out of a building. There is no telling how this franchise will come to a close, but every new installment will surely up the ante. (In case you missed it, you can watch the first trailer released back in November here.)

In the sequel, Ian Shaw (Statham) is seeking revenge on those who were responsible for the death of his brother, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans). This will force our heroes to go back into action, and travel to some of the world’s most exotic locations like Dubai.

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges return to reprise their respective roles. Joining them will be Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, and Kurt Russell.

Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. The film was written by Chris Morgan.

Furious 7 opens April 3, 2015.
