The first Hitman film was released back in 2007. Starring Timothy Olyphant, the film failed to create a fanbase, and there would be no sequel. Fox would give the project another chance, though, by rebooting the series with a new cast and a new story, and now we are getting a flashy look at what they’ve come up with for Hitman: Agent 47.
Starring Rupert Friend as the deadly Agent 47, Hitman: Agent 47 centers on an assassin, who makes it his personal mission to unlock the mysteries of his past and those who came before him, while stopping the same evil corporation who created him from releasing killers more powerful than him.

The plot plays out like every other super spy genre film we’ve seen before, but is a little bit more exciting now that there are some flashy scenes like the interrogation room break out or the mid-city zipline ambush.
Hannah Ware and Zachary Quinto also star. Directed by Aleksander Bach, with a screenplay written by Skip Woods and Michael Finch, Hitman: Agent 47 opens on August 28, 2015.
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research  and forty-six earlier Agent clones — endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
