SYNOPSIS:
In Aloha, a celebrated military contractor (Bradley Cooper) returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs – the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii – and reconnects with a long-ago love (Rachel McAdams) while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog (Emma Stone) assigned to him. From Academy Award®-winner Cameron Crowe, the writer-director behind such films as Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, Aloha also stars Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.
Crowe is also producing the movie along with Scott Rudin, while Ilona Herzberg and Eli Bush Ben Waisbren will act as executive producers.
In addition to writing and directing Aloha, Almost Famous (which he won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay), and Jerry Maguire (for which he was nominated for two Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture), Crowe also wrote and directed Say Anything, Singles, Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown, We Bought A Zoo, and the documentary Pearl Jam Twenty.
“The future isn’t just something that happens. It’s a brutal force, with a great sense of humor, that’ll steamroll you if you’re not watching.” Well spoken, sir.
Aloha is currently scheduled to be released on May 29, 2015.
