Whose Line Is It Anyway? returns Friday, April 17, and I am super excited! This show is always guaranteed to crack me and everyone else in the universe up, with its improv shenanigans. The games are based on audience suggestions. This is “the show where everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.”
A trailer for the new season has been released by The CW, and you can check it out below.
The trailer shows Key from Key and Peele (yay!) as one of the guest stars. Sexy Aisha Tyler returns as the host since the revival in 2013 (Drew Carey was the former host on a different channel).
For its 3rd season in this new incarnation, series regulars Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and the most talented man on the planet, Wayne Brady, are returning. The fourth member was always a guest star, plus they would get visits from The CW’s young stars. I cannot wait to see such favorite games as Scenes from a Hat, Props, Newsflash, Sideways Scene, What’s in the Bag, Hoedown, and Song Styles.
But my absolute favorite part of the show is when the guys crack themselves up and cannot maintain a straight face. It’s only fair. They crack me up.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? airs Friday nights on The CW.
ABOUT WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?
Hosted by comedian Aisha Tyler, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? also features the return of cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, who along with a special guest each episode, must put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games, prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience. Based on the wildly successful U.K. format, which also spawned a previous incarnation in the US that ran for eight seasons on ABC, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? is executive produced by Dan Patterson, Mark Leveson, Jimmy Mulville, Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady.
