Two weeks ago, on Olympus, Hero (Tom York) is home with his loving family – Aegeus (Graham Shiels) who tries to strangle him and whom hero has no respect for, Medea (Sonita Henry), who does seems like she cares a little plus he actually does respect her, and Lykos (Wayne Burns), who has a jealous fit to his mother. I mean, who can blame the guy? She IS his mother, and he did let her bleed him extensively. Pallas’s (John Emmet Tracy) treason was found out, thanks to clever Medea. Aegeus threw his ass in jail.
Olympus 1.7 “Love And Time” review: Hero gives himself over to Medea, and his vision of future Hero and beastly Kronos, in a frozen time trance greatly pleases her. I’m really enjoying their relationship. She is connecting with him better than even Oracle (Sonya Cassidy) has so far. Maybe because Oracle keeps yelling at him, and Medea encourages him.
Daedalus (Matt Frewer) has one day to finish the bull which should take weeks. King Minos (Alan C. Peterson) is sure obsessed with entrails. Daedalus is in despair, but he’s a genius… I have faith in him.
Lady Magus (Jessica Harmon) is vicious, snapping the neck of a boy. I cannot wait until this chick faces Medea!
Pallas is sentenced to death. About to be led away… Lykos speaks up. His wisdom and moving words saves his uncle. Xerxes (Cas Anvar) better watch out!
Hero goes into a weird looking cave entrance on the wings that touch the sky, which looks really cool by the way.
I got my wish. The Magi Chalciope reminisces with Medea. At first I thought they used to be girlfriend and girlfriend, until the “shared the same womb” thing came up. They do reference Medea killing her two children.
Hero saves Medea. Her sister is taken care of.
Entrancing episode. The action moved quickly, and the love/ not love moments between Hero and Oracle were sweet. He is such a typical guy in that aspect. Although, Ariadne (Sophia Lauchlin Hirt) does have a thing for him. And she was one of the ladies in his dream. Hmmm…
Oh shit! Kimon (Levi Meaden) is his brother? No love now! Although that mullet would have stopped me way before the incest did.
I think Crazy Aegeus actually loves Medea! He’s weeping like a little girl. And it feels like it’s not just because of the Lexicon or possible betrayal.
What the heck will happen next week? Does Hero love Oracle? Will Hero kill her? Will they open the gates of Olympus? Is Athens doomed?
Olympus airs Thursday nights at 11pm on Syfy.
