Fear The Walking Dead released a new trailer today, 6 days after the last one. AMC is really trying to heighten the anticipation for The Walking Dead prequel, that reveals our familiar zombie apocalypse, at the onset of the outbreak.

The trailer shows a scene between Kim Dickens, a guidance counselor, and a student, who is fearfully describing what he is not sure is a “virus or a microbe.” She tells him, “The authorities would tell us.”

Really? The authorities are probably walkers by now, lady.

The 2nd video, posted a few days ago, reveals Nick (Frank Dillane) running as if he’s being chased by a gang of clowns with razor teeth, or maybe zombies. We don’t see what he’s running from, but can hazard a guess, having journeyed with Rick and the gang for five seasons.

The 3rd brings us Executive Producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Ann Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and Dave Erickson explaining the concept and the new vibe.

Kirkman: “You don’t need to have watched The Walking Dead to understand Fear The Walking Dead.”
