Spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead…
This Sunday brought the conclusion of Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead, with back-to-back episodes, 2.14 “Wrath” and 2.15 “North.” Until now, we’d seen Travis separated from his son, Chris, who had decided to head back to California from Mexico with his new besties, the U.S. frat boy “Bros” Brandon and Derek. He then went on to miraculously reunited with his fiancee Madison, who had found safe haven with her daughter Alicia at a Mexican hotel, where they created a community with the existing occupants. Ofelia, who left the hotel without a trance, is making her way back to the United States in hopes of finding her boyfriend. Meanwhile, the safety over at the Colonia was compromised, and Nick warns his love interest Luciana and their leader Alejandro that the Warehouse gang controlled by Marco is likely planning an attack.

It’s been nearly two years since AMC announced their plans for a prequel spin-off to their wildly successful drama, The Walking Dead, which follows a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse in Georgia. While The Walking Dead is based on the popular comic book series by Robert Kirkman, the new series, titled Fear the Walking Dead, is an original story. As with TWD, Kirkman is also involved with Fear and co-wrote the pilot episode, which aired tonight.
Fear the Walking Dead takes place in Los Angeles, CA, during the early days of the zombie virus outbreak before the general public knew what was going on. The time frame of the events shown in LA coincide with the off-screen hospitalization of Deputy Rick Grimes just before he awakens from his coma in the series premiere of The Walking Dead, when most people had already been turned into flesh-eating undead “Walkers.”

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Confirmed For Season 2!

Before its first 6-episode season has even begun, when all we see are snapshots and quickie trailers, Robert Kirkman‘s prequel to his wildly successful The Walking Dead, has been confirmed for a second season. That’s right. Fear The Walking Dead, will return for a 15-episode season 2 in 2016.
