Warner Bros. has released one final trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. There is a little over a month left before the film hits theaters, and the studio is going to work the promotion machine until it breaks. But with much of the trailers focusing on Superman (Henry Cavill) or the battle between the two iconic title heroes, this latest trailer shines a Bat signal, as it focuses on Batman (Ben Affleck), his age, and how he perceives Superman has a threat. As he has hinted before, Superman has the kind of power to destroy humanity. In fact, he doesn’t want to take any chances with a god-like hero whose powers go unchecked. As The Dark Knight so adamantly put it, “If we believe there is even a 1% chance that he is our enemy, we have to take it as an absolute certainty.”

The opening seconds of this trailer give us a small glimpse of the relationship between Bruce and Alfred (Jeremy Irons). They know each other so well that Alfred tries to make it a challenge for Batman. After that, the action sequence between Batman and about a dozen armed goons looks like something straight out of the Arkham video games.
We’ve known that the events of Man Of Steel have made Batman question Superman’s place on Earth and how it is dangerous to let an alien with god-like powers go unchecked. He is convinced that Superman can be an enemy, and will stop at nothing to bring him down.
But the trailer isn’t entirely focused on Batman. We hear Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) bring up the dichotomy between “god and man” and “night and day.” However, we do get to see, or rather hear, Gal Gadot speak as Diana Prince, Wonder Woman’s alter ego. But the clincher is when the Batman is able to block a punch from the nearly invincible Superman, leaving the Man of Steel shocked that a mere human can deflect an attack so easily.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25, 2016.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
